The Secret Doctrine by H.P.Blavatsky, published in 1888, presented compelling evidence for the existence of a timeless Wisdom Tradition which has a world view based on the fundamental principles of oneness, interconnectedness and periodicity. The essential teaching of this Tradition points to the unity of all life, the interdependence of all natural processes and the profound identity between the human being's true Self and the cosmos. This book, in its second and revised edition, identifies remarkable parallels between the Ancient Wisdom and the insights of both modern science and contemporary thought. The author correlates main ideas from Blavatsky's magnum opus with the views of eminent scientists like Albert Einstein, Ilya Prigogine, David Bohm, Niels Bohr and many others. She successfully shows that the findings of modern science have a resonance with the insights of ancient seers about the nature of Reality. This book is an imprint of the Theosophical Publishing House, Adyar, and is imported from India.
