About the author: Andrew Harvey was born in India and schooled in England, the youngest Fellow ever at Oxford University. His book A Journey in Ladakh, sold 60,000 copies and won the Christmas Humphreys Prize. Harvey is coauthor of Perfume of the Desert (with Eyrk Hanut) and is a celebrated translator of Rumi.
